Faith...

Wow... I really don't know where to begin on this... Today was an experience that I will probably never forget. Today we rode the Ribbon trail and Holy Cross trail and while on Ribbon I experienced something extraordinary.. My brakes faded to the point of no return and I couldn't stop. In my attempt to stop I tried to put a foot down and pretty much bury my pedal into my right calf with no stopping in sight I saw a pocket of sand to the left and turned my bike into it... I was saved by a pocket of sand, nothing made by man saved me from what could of been serious bodily injury or worse. The whole way down all I could think of was a prayer said before the ride and where my beliefs stand and began to think about who I am as well as my faith... I began working on this the day it happened but haven't posted it due to the fact that I wanted to finish it when I felt it was time... I haven't posted any pictures or anything since the day it happened but that was because the rides since then were too much fun for me to stop. Well the post was almost forgotten but how can I forget this event and thought I would share it with others. Spec-ED is Out!!

Growth... or lack there of...

Well I rode Daley Ranch two times last week and realized that Pac-Man as a rider has seemed to grow quite a bit considering he rode it twice in a row on Saturday. I am having a hard time keeping up with him on the up hills. Oh well guess I just have accept it or grow with it... Anyway just a little thought. Spec-ED out! but not out that far....
